Backing Tracks for SINGING PErformances

 

Tracks MUST be received by 10:00pm on Thursday, the 7th of May - no exceptions.

  • Tracks are to be submitted in MP3 format by email to eisteddfod@hobarteisteddfod.net.au

  • There is to be one file for each section entered by each competitor.

  • All tracks must be in a file labelled with the Section Number and Competitor Name.

  • For example: if Rosie Cronin is performing in Section 1170 then the filename should read “1170 Rosie Cronin”

    The Backing Track must:

  • BE ACOUSTIC ONLY - PIANO OR GUITAR - No exceptions.

  • NOT HAVE recorded vocals in any part (lead, backing or harmony)

If there are any instrumental sounds, which could be mistaken for ‘the human voice’, please inform the Secretary when submitting your music.

A teacher or parent is encouraged to sit next to the person in charge of the backing tracks for sound levels.
Fold back speakers will be in place.
