🎶 WHAT’S ON 🎶

TASMANIAN PREMIERE

From the company that brought you Ladies in Black and My Fair Lady, join us for this inspiring new musical about America’s first women soldiers.

From New York to Paris, from ragtime to jazz: The Hello Girls chronicles the story of a brave group of women who volunteered to serve in the U.S Army as bilingual telephone operators on the front lines of the First World War. Upon their return, they faced another battle in the fight for equality and recognition for their contribution to the war efforts, with their actions paving the way for future generations to come.

With an uplifting score and spine-tingling harmonies, The Hello Girls is a show not to be missed. Featuring a stellar cast of local Hobart performers – Emily Dean, Nicole Simms Farrow (Musical Theatre Award winner 2009), Ella Wescombe, Shannae Shead (Errol Flynn Society Award 2023) Eli Horne, Bianca Paine, Will Pridmore, David Thomson (Musical Theatre Award winner 2023), Justin Turner, Gus Viney, Will Norris and Jeff Keogh.

Directed by Karen Kluss
Musical Direction by Petr Diviš (Sponsor of the Diviš Family Award & Lady Cross Senior Trophy winner 1990,1992)
Choreography by Mandy Lowrie
Lighting Design by Jason James
Set Design by Melanie Ransley
Costume Design by Helen Cronin (our secretary!)
